Does anyone have this? I've been reading specs but it hasn't said what the video connector is to attach this to a TV.

All the documents say is:
  • Quadrupole mini-jack (Φ 3.5 mm)

    [/*]
  • NTSC or PAL

    [/*]
  • Connects to television, monitor or projector with video input using optional third-party audio/video cable – sold separately[/*]
Does anyone know if it uses an svideo or something as nice and common? Or is it something that I'll be over charged for.

Anyone actually seen the video quality out of it?

It does all that I want for storing and reviewing images but for the cost its gotta be good for me to show videos or slides hows from too.

Eric, you might try PMing either Gazelle2 http://www.stevesforums.com/forums/v...r.php?id=29927

Or Golfer http://www.stevesforums.com/forums/v...r.php?id=25466

They have both had this unit for a while now and should answer your question and perhaps any more you may have.

Regards,

Stevekin.

Edit : Check this review, Michael Reichmann seems to like this unit and under Form Factor & Controls, third paragraph, mentions the use of a bog standard A/V cable, available anywhere. http://www.luminous-landscape.com/re...s/P-2000.shtml

Stevekin, that is exactly what I wanted to hear.
It uses "composite video", based on the luminous-landscapes review. Not the best standard, but not bad.

Thanks for that link, I didn't think to check there.
