Nobody has any xD-Picture card readers yet except for Olympus or Fuji. It will probably be a while before the 3rd party folks begin making them. For the other formats I am most impressed with SanDisk's new USB 2.0 card reader, tough to beat at its low price:

July 2 update - we have now posted our Lexar Multi-Card Reader review, it does handle xD, at least up to 128MB, it won't read a 256MB xD card - funny.

July 19 update - got my two Lexar readers back from Lexar and now they will read and write xD up to 512MB.

I am using different multicard readers (mobile and 3.5"-slot-in), also XdriveII - they read ALL cards, also xD using an Olympus or Fuji CD adapter.

I also use my 256 mb xD with this adapter in my CANON 10D. Works fine, works well.

CF. MD, XD, SD, MMC, SMC, memorystick, memorystick pro - all with my readers.

I'm using a Dazzle reader. Mine doesn't accept XD, but the reader ships with low level proprietary re-format programmes, which so far have revived 2 cards which would not have been possible in most other readers or with recovery software.

I understand XD adaptors are now available as mentioned previously.

Just to let you know that the Lexar MultiCard Reader has an update where it can read XD cards greater than 128mb...unfotunately it entails returning to Lexar for exchange.

Altaman, I also have this problem with the Lexar. I have a 256Mb Fuji xD card, and the Lexar can't read it.

I can't find anything on Lexar's website regarding an exchange or recall, where did you get this information?

I went to the Lexar site and talked to the live help...the ask you for the model # and then take info from you....you then get an email with an RMA# and where to send it.
