Hi Guys…

I am planning to buy the rebel XT… the sales person told me I NEED an ultra fast card for this camera…

I have a canon s70… it has a 1 gb scandisk card..

Can I use this card in my XT or do I really need a fast writing card like the scandisk ultra II..

I will be taking some burst pics.. or doin some rapid shooting..

Does the card speed affect the speed at which the camera takes pic??

Thanks for your input….

It would help, but I don't think that using a normal card will make the burst mode useless, and you'd probaly get along just fine without it.

I agree with Homer. I have the Rebel XT and I use a Lexar 1 gig 80x card in it. It works just fine. I will also use my 1 gig 32x when the 80x is full and it also serves me well.
