No, you're right raw is much better than tiff. I just want to see how fast the microdrive is with the 7i as a reference only. I don't shoot tiff either it's slower, take more memory, and is truncated down to only 8-bit color by the camera!

Steve- sparco.com 1GB lexar pro 32x $255+$6.30 shipping. already own 1 have just ordered the second one. now that i have 2 i expect the price to drop about $25 in the next 3 months :shock:

NHL- for some reason i just don't trust the quality of transcend. already i have seen problems posted by a few users on other forums. but the again i just read up on issues with the new lexars 40x cards with nikon D series cameras with WA installed. they are replacing them all though. no problem with my 1GBs so far.

its nice to have a responsive/responsible manufacturer back their product.
