I bought a Patriot 2GB SD card for my Canon S2 IS camera. I get a message that says "memory card error." At the menu, it skips over FORMAT. Does this mean that my camera has a limit of 1GB for memory cards or what? The card is the extreme 133x.

By the way, it was a great deal from Fry's for only $49.99 but I guess I may have to return it quickly and get a refund.

This means it's either incompatible or the memory is defective

2 gig should work fine in a S2
