Default Unformatted New Smart Media Cards

I was so proud and excited that I had purchased 3 new 512 Mb cards. I promply formatted the first one and when I got busy, simply opened the wrappers on the other two new cards, slipped them into my Olympus E-10, and shot away. Now I can see the photos on the camera but can't down load them to the computer.

Any suggestions? I have a simple disk recovery program. Will the more expensive ones recover in this situation?

Fortunatly, these are just back-up files, but I would still like to have them.

Thanks

Michael

Do you mean Compact Flash cards? The largest SmartMedia card size is 128MB.

Default Duh!!!

Yes, I mean Compact Flash cards. I also teach photography and have been trying to explain all 7 or so kinds of cards to my high school students and I just slipped into my typical blonde mode. Thanks for the embarresment!
