Why can't Pendrives (Thumb drives) be used in Cameras? USB, Firewire or whatever is the speediest, which also can be connected to the PC to transfer images?
Why don't they (Camera manufacturers) standardize flash memories?
If they don't standardize memories, why not every camera be equipped to receive all types memories? like a multicard reader?
Prices of flash memory are coming down, which does not solve the problem of inconvenience or loss. For example, I sold my Sony camera but could't sell the Duo Pro card which I cannot use with my Casio camera.
Scientific world needs standardization badly, but manufacturers are business people who do the marketing.

BAFO makes one. It has a card reader incorporated.
