I just received an FZ7 about a week ago. I went with the SanDisk Ultra II 2GBSD Model SDSDH-2048-901. It cost $64.99 from new egg. I have about 350 shots so far and it's very fast.Good Luck!

When the FZ7 was reviewed here they used a Scandisk Extreme III 1GB.

I have recently bought a FZ7, and I bought a SanDisk Ultra II 1 GB with USB with it. I have used SanDisks in the past with no speed problems, and this thing with the built-in USB plug is extremely helpful. ~40 from one of the amazon stores, though you have to check -- sometimes different and even the same stores have the same product for extremely different prices on amazon.
