Does the Sanyo Xacti VPC-C40 handle 4GB SD cards?

I can't find this information anywhere, not even from Sanyo.

Why is this?

It's very unlikely that it would work with cards larger than 2GB (since you'd need support for a 32 Bit FAT for anything over 2GB in size).

The largest card Sanyo shows in the tables for capacities on their web site is 1GB.


You may be able to use 2GB cards (and some cameras can be finnicky about SD cards larger than 1GB, so there's not guarantee that all 2GB cards would work either). But, it's very unlikely that anything larger than 2GB would work, because I doubt they included FAT32 Support (otherwise, they would have probably advertised it).
