If the lens is the same as the s5600. Its a 55mm filter thread. You cand buy a tele-converter and a wide angle converter . Which just screw straight onto the lens.

I would buy a skylight filter or a uv filter just to protect the lens because if you scratch the lens your knackerd...

Hope that helps....Rock

If you go to www.cameraworld.co.uk They sell the Finepix Wide Angle
converter WL-FX56 0.8x for the s9500. Any 58mm filters will fit on the lens.

I noticed your subject (Fuji Finepix S9500 DSLR), and wanted to let you know that your S9500 is not a DSLR.

It's considered to be "DLSR like" (one of the newer terms you sometimes see manufacturers using lately).

But, a DSLR (Digital Single Lens Reflex) camera has a mirror that fips out of the way (the "reflex" part) when you take a photo, and the mirrors are used to project the same image seen by the lens into your viewfinder.

In contrast, a model like your Fuji is using an Electronic Viewfinder that gets the image it sees from the camera's CCD Sensor, and no mirrors are involved.

You can see more about how a Single Lens Reflex camera works here:

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Single-lens_reflex_camera

Here is another page specific to Digital SLR models:

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Digital_SLR

If you scroll down a ways, you'll see a section on "SLR like" models like your Fuji:

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Digital...R-like_cameras

There are pros and cons to both camera types.

[align=left]We all know it's not a true "DSLR" but it act's likes one. Just because it dose'nt have a mirror inside that flips out of the way. You will find soon that Cannon and Nikon are trying to do this with the "DSLR" because it's cheaper and they will get a quicker lag time between shots. So if Wrams wants to belive it's a "DSLR". Who are we tell him other wise.
