I just received part of a selection of Hoya 52mm filters (UV, CIR-POLARIZING - with FLUORESCENT on back-order) and an adaptor tube which was supposed to fit my Canon G5 from 47th St. Photo, in an eBay auction. The adaptor tube's box was labeled: "Titanium Adaptor Tube for Ditital Camera, For...Canon, Size...Bayonet-52mm", but the tube in the box is labeled: "Opteka For Fuji 55-52". I am guessing that the incorrect tube got switched in the box, since the tube fits very loosely on the G5.

Can anyone tell me exactly which of several adaptor tubes (whether it be Titanium, Opteka, or some other popular brand), is of high quiality and fits the Canon G5 properly and securely, and is to used with 52mm Hoya filters (assuming that this is the proper size flter)? I can request that 47th St. Photo replace the tube with the suggested models.

My ' DKE Conversion Lens Adapter LA-DC52B' is a nice tight fit on my G3. I'm using my 52mm filters, close-up lenses, polarizer, etc. I got it for about $10 from Beach Camera last year. (BTW, I had an excellent buying experience with Beach).
