Newbie here...

I recently purchased a Canon Rebel XT which was the easy part. It's a bit more diffulcult to find the proper protective case, humm. Well, to start off with, the reason why I bought the XT was due to an 'accident' along a Brasstown waterfall trail in South Carolina, bleh. Slipped, broke my fall with the cammy.

Anyways, I've been looking for a case to hold just the stock lens kit that comes with the XT and maybe the charger/storage cards as well. Most importantly,a case thatwont absorb water from heavy rainfall n such during hikes ornearby waterfalls. The only ones I've been able to find are bulky hardcases or back-packs, but I always take my Hydra-pak which leaves me little room on my back and would require a shoulder/chest mounted pouch/case of some sort. Whatever it is, it would need to withstand rain and maybe an occasional 155lb crush...lol.
