Looking for a camera "L" shape handle with a (gun style) trigger shutter release. Use to have one with my ole C330 camera, worked out very handy. Hold the camera with one hand and control the shutter while your other hand was free to make camera setting adjustments. Looked for one but no luck, then again Google and me don't seem to get along well.

Perhaps a Flash Bracket used in combination with a short remote release would do the trick.

There are lots of "L" shaped Flash Brackets, some even with "pistol grip" type handles, but I can't find any with a built-in shutter release.
The only one I could find that does anything like you say you want, uses your thumb instead of your index finger, to trigger the shutter. See http://rpsstudiolighting.com/index.p...roducts_id=809

That's not a bad find, very close to what I was trying to build.
Thanks, Craig

I think the word you're looking for is "Overkill", but I like how you can change the orientation of the camera while it's in the bracket. (Did you see the video?)
