I'm seeking advice on buying a 72mm flurescent filter for my Canon 28-135mm lens.

At a Dahlia fair, I took some great photos except the coloring was too far off for my liking, even after post-processing. I was not using any filter, and used a tripod and no flash.

On Amazon.com I see a variety ranging from very cheap to very expensive.
I was wondering if there would by any noticible differences in quality between using the difference brands (ie. degradation of picture quality and effectiveness).
I see brands such as tiffen, hoya, opteka...

I'd prefer not to spend a fortune, but also would be willing to spend abit than I'd like if it would really make a difference. Also, if there's any place online other than Amazon that I should look, I'd appreciate any advice with that as well.

Have you tried setting your custom white balance to flourescent?? Most color correcting filters have been rendered not necessary through the use of custom white balance and/or shooting RAW.
