Unfortunately that store doesn't allow direct linking (with your link all I get to is the store's homepage which asks me if I'm an Ausie so to figure out whether I need to pay the GST).
Here's the actual device, http://www.vosonic.co.uk/mmv.html Also, http://www.vosonic.com/index.php?php...&php_itemid=25 It can't display RAW files, but no word on being able to save RAW files. This unit is either too new on the market, or no one cares about it...can't find anyone with a review. As for its capacity being large enough, how long is your trip, and how many pictures do you intend on taking; think about it this way...20gig is 20,000meg! |

hey mike
how long will i be on holiday? well id like to say 6 months...... but really about 2-3 weeks. .with 2 peole using the unit one witha 3mp camera and one with a 5mp camera . i gues 20gig would be enough but with computer and electronics im inclined to go bigger capacity when purchacing .things have a way of becoming out dated quickly i also like the idea of being able to take along a few of my favourite dvds and watch them on a tv in my motel. we actually do under water photography so we end to take many ! photos. i hope the unit will have firmwire updates to allow raw files as some people shoot raw in uwater photography. reguards matt |

It looks very nice.
In the first link above it says it supports xD, but in the specs it does not. Will it work with XD? Also, is the internal Lithium Ion battery user replaceable? Lithium Ions are subject to aging. They will go bad in 2-3 years, regardless of the number of charging cycles. I'd hate to have an expensive unit that has to be sent in for big dollar servicing every few years. Just ask the I-Pod folks. |

hey segbert
as for xd card i havent looked as i dont use that card format. the battery used i the equivlent to the np120 i think which is the same battery that my camera takes so that would be a bonus . a spare batt for my camera if needed . i might wait and see if any reviews come out and see what the actual transfer times are like . reguards matt |

I can't see a vp6300 in the list of shopping items. I see vp300 and vp6210 there, and vp3310
