I'm reading that there are "special" polarizing filters for digital cameras.
I currently own a 77mm circular polarizing filterfor my Nikon lenses (28-70 f2.8 and 80-200 f.8), used on my F5.But I'm about to change over to the D200. Is there really any advantage in getting the "special, for digital" filters, oris that just hype to sell more product? Thanks! Whirlwind |
Wow! Special polarizing filters for digital cameras! What will they think of next?
Sounds like a lot of hype, if you ask me. Stick with what you have. If you need to get another filter or two, stay with Hoya, B+W, or any of the other well known brand names. Regards - Paul in NoVA Olympus E-500 C-730 http://www.flickr.com/photos/stoney_g/sets/ |
The only "special" I can think of is getting a circular instead of linear polarizer.
