Does any one have any experience of this being a good fit for a Canon SX1 camera. Thanks in advance.

It may be a bit big for the sx1. You may want to look at something a little smaller.

The Tamrac site says it will fit my camera on there compatibility chart, but maybe the 5694 Digital 4 will do the trick?

It will fit your camera, but can carry a dslr with an addtional lens. If you plan on carrying more then just the camera, it will be a good fit. If you are not, the smaller one may do the trick. Does any store down there have either bags for you to look at?

Some reviews say that lowepro is a better constructed and padded case than tamrac, what do you reckon. Yes, i think i can check out a decent camera store in a couple of weeks, i live in a place of 4,500 people and the nearest shop 1 hour away carries very limited supplies other than good stock of cameras. thanks

to be honest the lowepro and tamrac are about the same. Both are good bags. I have a tamrac velocity as my small bag never had an issue.
Your SX10 is not that big, the 5500 and the 3365 may fit your needs. http://www.adorama.com/TRAE65RD.html?searchinfo=tamrac http://www.adorama.com/TR5500BK.html...fo=tamrac+5500 Last edited by shoturtle; Jan 6, 2010 at 7:37 PM. |

Thanks for your feedback and very good suggestions. This has so far been the best site for feedback i have requested lately and i am impressed with your quick responses today. The Slik Pro 700DX i got the other day is awesome, and has the height i need for me and my SX1 looks good on top. Cheers, Bill-New Zealand.
