I know the sanyo VPC-E1 does not have the threading on the bottom of the camera for a tripod to screw into.

So my question is does sanyo or some other company make a tripod or stand that it will sit in?

Thanks for any info..

Not to my knowledge ... you will need to make your own cradle. Use a plywood base with a T-nut to fit a standard tripod screw, padded sideand velcro.

I found a really cool mini tripod on ebay that works perfectly with my Sanyo E1 Waterproof Movie Camera.

It has a removable threaded top on it to make mounting your camera easy. You can bend it to lock onto different things and shapes so it's a really versitile tripod. The balls have a rubber coating on them so it won't slip when it's wrapped around something. It should only be used with small cameras that are light weight.

Just search ebay for mini tripod and you should find a few...

Cost me $4.99 on plus a few dollars shipping

It uses the standard 1/4" threading size for most small digital and video cameras
