Default MRC vs SC

B+W makes two Circular Polarizer Filters.

One has a single coating of anti-reflection coating
One has multiple layers of coating.

The multiple layer is about $20 more leading me to think that it's a better filter simply because it costs more. But that's only a guess.

Is there a reason to choose the single over the multi or vice versa?

I'll be using this for a photoshoot on the beach.

Faithfully yours,
FP

Coatings reduce flare and reflections, and increase light transmission.

Single coatings decrease flare and reflections, and increase light transmission considerably over uncoated glass.

Multiple coatings decrease flare and reflections, and increase light transmission considerably over glass with a single coating.
