Default Digital to Slide converersion?

How can I convert a digital image (scanned or camera. just a digital
image on my HD) into a SLIDE

I googled and found
http://www.shortcourses.com/how/slides/slides.htm

But links from there and subsequent googles for film recorders etc
give me nothing.

I would preferably like to send images to on online or offline source
and have them converted and returned
(or buy a converter. However the linked article says this is very expensive.)

Any idea? Anyone else converting digital to slide?

Ho and UK resources preffered but not absoloutly needed I suppose.

Any help much appreciated

I wonder if a digital projector would be a better solution?

The local camera club does slide show presentations and slide show compotitions. I am always more impressed seing the pictures shown by slide than prints held up

Lots of online companies will be happy to take your money to produce slides from digital. Here are a couple. It's kind of pricey because they essentially have to print or project your photo and then take a slide photo of it. You're looking at a very time-consuming process or some very expensive equipment.

Ho great links thanks. I used google and did my best and couldnt find any of these.

The price isn't that bad per slide. Its the minimum order of 50 that makes it scarey.

But they deliver to UK.. Great stuff and thanks for the links

Tony,
I use an LCD projector for a "digital slide show" of my images. If these shops project the image and the shoot it, save your money: the resolution will not be en=ven close to what you expect to see in comparison to a real slide. Side by side, you can really see the difference.
