Well I bought the FZ20 and a 72 mm polarizer, then I did the research!Oh well how many of us have done that.
I bought the Phayee and a 62mm UV.
My question is,Has anybody tried the 72mm polarizer on the Phayee minus the uv filter?
I have not recieved the Phayee yet so I have not had the chance to try it.Will it work OK?I would like to know so I can either keep or sell the B+W polarizer.

Do you use the Pana tube and hood?

IMHO I like the FZ20>Phayee lens adapter 62mm> 62mm filter>Phayee hood [I call it a napkin ring] 72mm>Hama 72mm collapsing rubber hood>72mm center operating cap.

That is my set up when I do not have conversion lenses stacked.

I do not put a UV and a Polarizer on the same time unless a reduction in light is desired. Both reduce light tranmission a little.

The Phayee is in 2 pieces. The first piece has a 62mm thread on the end. If you put the second piece on (it acts as a cheap lens hood) then you have a 72mm thread on the end. If you use both pieces, your 72mm filter will work fine.
