Default Epson 2450,3200 or HP S20 Film Scanner?

I have a budget of $500 max and want to buy a good scanner to scan my old 35mm negatives and slides and then print on my S820. I do not have the money for the expensive Nikon,Canon, Minolta, etc. models. I have read reviews on the Epson 2450, 3200 and HP S20 scanners, but would like user input from this forum. What are y'alls opinions/experience with these models?

Default I have the 2450 Photo Scanner and Love it

Not sure if this is too late, you posted a while ago, but here it is all the same.

I have the 2450 Photo and love it. It is fast (USB 1, USB 2 & Firewire), it is quite and it scans beautifully.

You can pick one up now at Amazon for pretty cheap, $299.95 (when I bought it is was $100 more). The price just dropped because the 3200 just came out.

Here are some sample from slides that I scanned. They are all from the late 60's - early seventies.
