Lowepro Toploader with the Sliplock system for accessories is nice.

I can't find those bags, I found the Karachi outpost though, can you help me find the bags you were talking about?┬* And, how is the padding?

It seems like the names are different from the EU site.

I also got the Crumpler Farmers Double (at least that is what they call it over here). You can see it at www.crumpler.co.uk. It is the best bag I've ever had!!

The Outpost seems like a good choice. Please let us know how it is when you get it...

I don't care much for the Crumpler bags on the site...I have the Petrol PCBP-1 and have emptied it out. I can use it for some things but it's not watertight.

HARDSHELL

I'm using a hardshell transport for all my computer editing, video and photo gear...Pelican 1510 w/ wheels and extendable arm. It's absolutely airline compliant for carry-on. There's a MAC G4, DVCam, Canopus ADVC110, Lacie HDD(x2) etc. and it all fits snugly inside. Also, floatable watertight.

See 'Medium Cases' at Pelican...

I find the webbed insert in the top of that 1510 is VERY handy for storing a couple of external hard drives, video converter, power supplies, batteries...all the things you don't want "floating" inside the case.

They make a photo insert but it doesn't apply well to my applications.

SOFT CASE

Inside that, a much smaller case for taking out the videocam and D200. The foam padding isn't working well for me because I've got TOO MUCH gear that is "must travel" on extended trips.

I'm using a very inexpensive and small bag made by Ambico. I bought it at Circuit City, if I recall.
