ZERO Pixels!!

I took exception with the misleading article when it was published!

FILM has NO pixels, it has film grains. They may be picture elements, but the term, when used in digital photography, refers to a sensor element. There are NO sensor elements at all.

The film resolution may be "equated" to pixels necessary to get the same resolution, but it is NOT the same thing. Your 35mm film SLR with ISO 100 film gives higher resolution than most digital cameras.
