Ok I just got this Cannon powershot A85. I do love it. When I tried to macro this flower out side my house. I get a huge noise problem in the picture. I use manuel settings on the cam. Manuel focus at 5cm 1/13 and F7.1 I just wanted a very nice clear detailed pic.
heres the pic. This is the noise issue http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v2...n/IMG_0394.jpg This is during the evening. This is probly the best I could get one to come out http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v2...n/IMG_0350.jpg Any suggestions? Thanks in advance |

I have an a510 which is very related to your camera. I get excellent results using the P mode and the built in macro setting (the flower). Very clear. I use vivid color, and center focus, eval. metering, auto iso, +1/3 exposure comp, white bal. auto, red eye off, dig zoom off, auto focus assist lamp on. Sometimes I adjust a little if the histogram shows I need to. Great macro photosabout 8 out of 10 shots. I think your camera has all the same settings.
A few examples, all taken with the flower setting from about 3" to 1', no tripod. http://pg.photos.yahoo.com/ph/mes444...95&.src=ph |
