Default Which Camera should I pick?

Hello all, I'm new to the whole digital camera scene and have found myself in a bit of a quandry. I'm looking to buy my first digital camera after the untimely demise of my old 35mm. Anyway, I'm looking for the following features:

SD Memory
About 3 Megapixels
optical zoom
Sound recording capabilities would be a plus.

I would like to keep the price tag below $300 and I've found these three cameras so far:

Ricoh Caplio RR30

Kodak DX4330 Zoom

Panasonic Lumix DMC-LC33.

Any input would be appreciated.

Why sd memory only? I only bring this up because adapters are available that allow you to use sd memory in cameras that take cf cards.

I want SD Memory because I have other digital equipment that use that type of memory. I was unaware that such adapters exist. In light of that, I guess it wouldn't matter so much if the camera used CF. However, a built in SD slot would be a little more convinient.

I too am new to digital cameras and have used an old nikon 35mm
n6006 for years. I just got my first digicam 07-10. I too also reviewed alot of cams and wanted some of the same features.
But after hours of indecision I took a chance on a unreviewed
camera the Toshiba M700. I am going to yellowstone park soon
and wanted a good zoom, movie mode with sound, manual mode,
and an easy auto mode so my wife can use it. But limiting the price to 300.00 was really hard for what I wanted. After much pleading
and justifing to my wife. I spent (tax & shipping) 490.00 for the
camera, 80.00 for 256mb lexar SD card, and 40.00 for digipower
(8)AA batteries and charger with auto adapter. Any digicam you buy you need a spare card and batteries. So far this camera is
very easy to use. I not advising to buy this camera, just trying to make a point about what you need and what you want. Good Luck!!
