Cannon S230 vs S330

I am buying my first digital camera. I will be taking general family and vacation photos. I do not anticipate having to print enlargements greater than 8X10. I place a premium on small size so I am considering the Cannon Powershot.
Question: Would I be better off with the S230 (3megapixels, 2X optical zoom) or the S330 (2megapixels, 3X optical zoom)??? Any advice from experienced users regarding the tradeoff between these to cameras would be appreciated.

Image quality vs. Zoom

Depends on what is more important to you. 3 megapixels will give you better image quality than 2 megapixels, and if prints are what you're after, 3 MP easily allows prints up 8 x 10 in; 2 MP, 4 x 6 in. or 5 x 7 in. I personally find that 2x or 3x zoom are not much anyway, so I would personally go with the S230.
