Can anyone recommend an easy (never used it before) editing software? Willing to purchase the right one. Would like something I can grow into a little but do not need professional stuff. Some one mentioned lightroom or photoshop but it looks like you have to purchase levels and it's already confusing. Should I try something that's free and if so which one? I finally can shoot in manual mode and feel a little confident in changing f stops, iso, etc but now I have this hurdle to jump. Any suggestions would be welcome. Thanks in advance.

Adobe products are only available by subscription, and so are only for serious users.
There are lots of good FREE programs, many of which, some people like better than Adobe's offerings. See https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Compar...aphics_editors Take a look at IrfanView.com.
