I am thinking of buying a refurbished FP6900 Zoom as my first digital camera. Has anyone had good or bad experiences with this camera.
I have been read of the following bad points - Short Battery life an replacment costs Poor EVF any more that I should know about before purchasing this model or should I wait and get a Fuji S602Z Many thanks |

My mates got one of these. You're right the EVF leaves a bit to be desired but it's manageable.
Propriatary bats are a pain in the bum but if you are getting a good deal then I'd buy it because in general this is a great camera. |

Don't know how much a refurbed 6900 is, but I'd spring for the S602 myself, unless the money difference is really big. You can get a new 602 online for about $500 from good dealers.
