Default grey market

I was about to order an Olympus 730 UZ and ran into a price difference between the US and European camera.

What is the difference between the two versions of the Olympus cameras?

Should I stay away from the Euorpean camera for any reason?

It can't be serviced under warranty by Olympus USA. The video output signal is probably PAL format instead of NTSC.

8) True, but that said, I occassionally take a calculated risk and buy grey market from a top dealer if the savings is big enough. I haven't had a problem over 30 years of buying photography equipment.

I would not buy grey if (1) I couldn't afford the risk, (2) the savings wasn't pretty substantial, and (3) I wasn't buying from dealers I know and trust. (Of course, the video output could be a show-stopper.)
