Hello,
I will probably buy the panasonic Z30 (I had the Z5 and liked it), but I need a lighter camera for low-light and night shots. Which camera should I pick? I heard that the Fuji E 900 was out of focus in low light. The canon A620seems very complete for a day use but what about difficult lights? Any other suggestion? Thanks |

How about the Fuji F10? It's smaller and lighter than either the A620 and the E900, and has ISO 1600 capabilities. If you're looking for a compact cam that's great in available light situations, the F10 should do it. No manual functions, and no optical viewfinder, but it's fast and good in low light.

kuchen, why did you discard the FZ5? That is a pretty good light weight point & shoot and, after the 12X optical you'd have a very difficult time going back to 3X or 4x...
p.s. this is post #100 :G |
