Hello,
My 35MM Canon (auto) broke after 22 years. Now I am looking for a digital and have been confusing myself with all of the information available. I have narrowed it down to a Fuji, but am not sure if I want the 3000, 3800, 5000 or 7000. I am not intimidated by controls and would like a camera that is both automatic and has manual controls. I know the difference between these four is that three have 3 mp and one has 6 and they all have 6x zoom except the 6 mp has 10x. I do not think I need the 7000 but am not sure if the 5000 or the 3800 take better pictures based on the conflicting reviews. I will be taking pictures of my children's sporting events (football and baseball), family and friends, vacations, etc. I will be making pictures 8 x 10 and 4 x 6 for the most part - possibly 11 x 14 on rare occasions. HELP! Thank you in advance for your oh so appreciated assistance! Lynn |

Thank you - you are right. The 5000 is the one with 10x, I knew this but did not realize I mis-stated it until you replied.
I just bought the 5000 online a few minutes ago - so hopefully I will be happy with my choice. Thanks again. |
