CF i - >43 × 36 × 3.3mm

CFii - >43 × 36 × 5.5mm

SD - > 32 × 24 × 2.1mm

MMC-> 32 × 24 × 1.5mm

As you can see the CF cards are way too big to fit into a SD/MMC slot.

Thanks for the help. Can someone explain the benefits of high speed memory vrs regular memory cards?

Is it only a benefit in uploading the pics? Thanks.

Uploading is a major one, but using a cameras movie mode is also relevant to card speed. Often a slow speed card will give you choppy movies because it simply can't right the data fast enough and has to skip some.

It is also important to have a high speed card when you are shooting pictures very fast (burst mode for example).
