Default Indoor image quality between Minolta F100 + Olympus D-40

Sorry about all these threads but i was pretty much set on the Minolta F100 and then hear from a fair few people that apparently the minolta is fairly bad with indoor shots due to its under powered flash?

Or is the flash fine but just thats its range isnt the best?

I plan to take quite a few indoor shots so dont want them coming out unviewable

Any views?

I do not know that either camera will be different in indoor pictures. Your pictures will usually be grainy in low light conditions. I use the Oly C4040 and you can look at the indoor shots of our church's Upward Basket Ball league. These were shot indoors under gym lighting.
