Default Just need digicam picture taking advice

I have a Sony 5.0 Megapixel cam, I want some good advice on taking good pictures. Especially for cars.

Since your need is so specific - I'll recommend a Polarisationfilter in front of your lens. Tight cropping also is important.

The polarized filter, as Klaus DK suggested, will help with the outdoor shots. If the cars are moving, you will need to learn the technique of tracking. You track the car in your viewfinder and then at the right time click the shutter button. If you are using the auto mode press the shutter halfway to activate the autofocus.
