I have never own a diggy. I'm going to get a pany 5. It seems like it would work good for a p/s guy like me that wants a lot of zoom and takes pics of the kids.

I know the memo card that it will come with will not hold many pictures. What kind of card (size and brand)do you guys reccomend and where is a good place on line to buy one?

Thanks a bunch.

I generally buy my memory cards from www.newegg.com. Not the absolute best prices, but they are an upstanding company and I'm willing to pay a little more for the confidence that the transaction will be proper (they won't bait-and-switch me, they won't claim to have inventory they don't have, they ship promptly, ...)

I don't know that camera, so I don't know what type of memory card it takes.
I'm a fan of Lexar and SanDisk, but there are other good companies out there. For an SD card, I'd stick with those. For a CF card, there are other makers that do a good job... Viking, Delkin, Ritek, PNY are all not bad (but Lexar and SanDisk are the clear leaders in this market.)

I recommend a San Disk Ultra II. 512 MB is usually enough for 128+ pictures.

I can not suggest any on-line site as I donĀ“t know how secure is it in your country (you didn't specify) , but usually you can go to any camera store and buy it in person.

Thanks all. I went with the Kingmax 60 speed - 512 mb from Newegg

Haven't got it yet. Should get my FZ5 tomorrow. Looking forward to entering the world of diggy's!

I live in the US - KANSAS.
