I recently was gave a fujifilm digital camera mx-2700 from one of my husbands shipmates. All I was given was the camera itself and the lithium battery. I know I need the software and the cables. I dont know where to go for them. Also I was hoping I can get some information about this type of digital camera. Thanks soo much...

I did a search on the fujifilm.com site but could not find anything when I searched on MX-2700. You might contact someone directly and ask about a replacement or downloadable manual.
As for cables and software I'd suggest you instead get a USB smart media card reader for your PC. Use that to read the memory cards. You won't need software or the camera cable to take pictures. Th e MX-2700 only has RS-232 so even if you hooked the camera directly you would have pretty poor download speed. Here's one. Smart Media Reader Here's Steve's review of the camera which will give you some information: http://www.steves-digicams.com/mx2700.html If they didn't give you the battery and charger you'll need to get them. B&H Photo carries both. <I reread your post and saw you have the batter. You didn't mention the charger though> Fuji Battery Fuji Charger They show out of stock on the charger which is really j ust an AC adapter so you might try a Digipower AC adapter. Digipower Adapter The Digipower is cheaper ![]() [Edited on 8-28-2002 by padeye] |

http://www.imaging-resource.com/PRODS/MX27/M27A.HTM This page is a very complete review of the camera which is almost as good as the book.
