Picture Storage Format Tips

Hello,

I'm extremely new to digital photography and just bought a Canon A70 setup. Can anyone give me some tips on digital picture storage formats or where I can read info pertaining to that. Ideally I don't want much loss of information in the storage.

Thanks,

SalmonFisherJeff

If your camera has Canon RAW (CRAW) file format available, use that. If not, use the highest resolution at the lowest compression available. This will take the most space on your Compact Flash card, but memory is cheap now. It'll allow you print pictures with the best detail.

Hope we have a better salmon season this year than last year. Humpies will run this year!
