I know that it's possible in Steve's Forums' to posta link to a specific thread in another forum, by cutting and pasting the address of that thread. I also know it's possible to go straight to a particular message in that thread, with an extra bit of syntax on the end of the thread address, including something like "&jumpto&#10". I knowbecause I've seen it in addresses at the top of my browser page.
I can't remember the exact syntax, and can't make it work. I can't remember the context in which I saw it work (perhaps following a search). Please can a kind moderator/java expert help? I need to point folk in one forum to the 13th post in a thread in another forum, and I don't want them to have to look at the preceding 12 messages first. TIA, Alan T |

You can see examples of how it's done by viewing the list of someone's posts in their profile. But it doesn't work very well, especially if the topic has a lot of images in the posts before the one you want to reference.
