Have Fuji 3800 on order and have viewed manual on PDF from Fuji website. Confused if the up to 30sec audio memo I can make actually becomes part of the image file (i.e., if I email the image to someone will they also hear the accompanying verbiage?). Or, is the memo only available as part of the playback on the camera itself?

Hi,
Audio files are usually saved in a separate folder with the same filename but with the extension .wav. To send the audio portion, you would need to send both the image file and the .wav file. The .wav files can be decoded (read) with many different software packages. If you want to hear them on your computer, you may want to use something like Windows Media Player - or the freeware player IrfanView with the plugins. Lin |
