Default Tamron 70-300 AF-S VR

I just bought this lens and have a question...When I rotate the focus ring either left or right I notice that u can keep rotating the right left or right..In the window on the right it stops at infinity but you can still rotate the ring..Is this normal with this lens or is something wrong with it..I bought it from Amazon so really no support on the lens..Thanks

G'day nitti

-yes- mate ... it is a characteristic of the current designs of electronic & manual focus lenses
You will also note that the lens can focus 'beyond infinity' - so that the focus control can identify the exact infinity point
Enjoy the lens
