your opinion on extended warranty

Do you guys buy extended warranty on digital cameras?

On a $300$460 camera, I am looking at $40-$60 for a 4yr extended. It is a replacement garruntee (no fixes), includes everything in box, covers power surges, normal wear-and-tear, and is transferable.

The way I see it: Most people would be willing to pay more for a product that came with a 4yr warranty, as opposed to the cheaper that only came with a 1yr. Yet, when that 4yrs is an extended warranty, they balk? I a large part of this is due to distrust of 'sleazy' salesmen that push the extended warranty. I agree that in some cases Extended warranty is not needed, and that is what I need your help with.

After one year, the exact model won't be available (new) anyway in most cases, and we will stuck with some sort of questionable deal with the dealer who will try to make money again (of course).
IMO, the real useful warranty is a repair one (should be cheaper) , but again, also questionable
