I'd go for the oly c4000. It has more mp, a larger range of iso settings and more features. Though the 3800 has a large zoom, its iso is stuck at 100 which makes indoor photography difficult (especially in places where flash is not allowed), besides, the c4000 can take add-on lenses in order to make up for the lack of a built in super-telephoto lense.

i too would probably go with the olympus.

The Fiji camera (a friend has it) does not have many manual features. It's 6x zoom is really nice and so is its LCD screen for viewing in bright (sunlight) type condictions.

It is also really light with/without batteries in it.

But again I perfer being able to change my camera settings so I would lean towards the olympus

I own the fuji and really .... two very different cameras you have here.

They have very different strengths and weaknesses.
