Hi guys,

I have a question, when you wiggle the FZ7 should there be anything moving inside? When I pass zoom 4x the movement stops
I mean something really noticeble. The camera works fine (movement of the elements and such). What do you think? :?

This was one of the most asked question in the Panasonic forum.

If your Lumix is otherwise functioning properly, the most likely cause of this "wiggle" is the optical stabilization system - there is a springy lens component that moves (in fact, "resists movement by inertia") to counteract the movement of your shaky hands, so as to reduce blurring of the picture when the shutter speed is slow (eg. 1/30 or less). When you are not taking pictures and shake the camera, it is normal to feel that there is something springy and loose inside.
