Hehe. This has been an interesting conversation and has proven the age old sayings, "Opinions are like rectums, everybody has one."

But I've learned a lot. I've learned that I think I'll hold off on purchasing another digital camera and study my DX 7590 in a little more depth and I've got a bid in on a nice Kiev 88 with two lenses and a prism finder as a toy. I had one befoire but it developed a light leak and I ebayed it to a guy in France who knew how to fix it. They have a nice lense with just a little degredation in the corners, but i can crop. Maybe I'll buy another digital in a year. I really liked the looks of the retro panasonic though.

And it's tough to beat a Leica lens.

Graphico, you should take a look at the 4 Gigapixel camera discused at http://www.stevesforums.com/forums/v...mp;forum_id=72

That will make your digital backed Hassy look like a BarbieCam. It will also make it look just as portable. About 40 uncompressed 16 bit TIFFs from that camera to fill up your terabyte hard drive.

Weighing more than 100 pounds, Flint's camera captures images at 4 gigapixels... That'd flatten the tires old my old wheelchair I bet :G

Ha, I thought that was the one you were talking about (you mentioned Leica lenses and a 7MP sensor). Which is why you should also consider the options to be coming out at Olympus from PMA (March). If you want live-view, there should be more models available then.
