Default Re: Upgrading (thanks)

Gentlemen,

Thank you for the suggestions from the previous post. I have decided purchasr a Minolta Dimage 7i. The CoolPix 5700 is too small for me and the Sony f717 is too unconventional and in previous posts more expensive to operate. I have a couple of questions.

1. Can I use a polarizing filter on the 7i and will I see the results of polarization in the viewfinder? I am going on an Alaskan cruise in August and like to use polarizing filters with ocean shots.

2. Where is the best place on-line to purchase the camera in both price and reliability? I have heard horror stories about some of the sites and want to make sure that I get the USA warranty, good shipping (overnite) and return policy.

Again, thanks for feedback and look forward to hearing from you.

Happy fourth of July

Yes, EVF is WYSIWYG
Choose a thin filter:

I would recommend B&H in New York. The really cheap stores in NY give them a bad name. They are quite reputable and have been around for... I have no idea. 20+ years I bet.

Check them out on resellerratings.com and read the comments. I think you will be pleased.
