Do you really think that anyone can sell you a camera for nearly $300 less than the going rate and be legitimate?

Take a look:

Now look here:

and here:

B & H is selling the XTI body for $681.95.
B & H has a rating of 9.56 out of 10.

Beach is selling the XTI body for $679.
Beach has a rating of 8.77 out of 10

Express is selling the XTI body for $399.
Express has a rating of 0.40 out of 10.

Feel lucky?

By the way, coldshot recommended B & H to you yesterday, and Mugmar gave you the ressellerratings link.

If you see a vendor listing a price that looks to good to be true, then it probably is not worth your time. They'll attempt to sell you accessories which normally come with the camera, like the battery, charger, and strap for insanely high prices, or add on useless warranties or "upgraded" memory cards or cleaning kits. The tactics they will use are "high pressure" to say the least, and if you go through with it, you'll likely pay more than you would have if you went through a reputable vendor. If you stick to your guns, and try to just buy the camera at their advertised price, the camera will magically go out of stock, or be on backorder. These guys are crooks, period. Stick with known vendors, like B&H, Adorama, etc.
