Default Since you mention flash,

you should be aware that the built-in flash in all cameras, digital, chemical, SLR, ... are all junk. Some are worse than others, but none are any good. Since they have to be small and close to the lens, they will all produce red-eye and glare.

So if flash is important to you, go for a camera that supports an external unit.

Actually the most important for me is the performance in night shot.... cause i like the night shot photo. compare for this two camera. which one can do it better? (Sony Cyber-shot DSC-P2 or Canon Powershot P200)

Default Night shot

Shutter control = Sony (2-1/1000 sec.) vs Canon (151/1500 sec.)

based on ONLY the shutter speed, 15- 1/1500 of course give you more latitude both in program and manual modes ( assuming they both offer manual)

Default Quality of image

I've downloaded and compared a couple of the sample shots for both cameras, and to my eye the Canon is sharper and has less noise than the Sony.

The Canon also has a focus assist lamp would should mean it gives better shots in low light.

In less than perfect lighting conditions the sony cybershot DSC-P2's AF Illuminator emits a beam of infrared light to insure an accurate focus lock, even in total darkness.
