I believe the Sony uses memory stuck technology. This is proprietary to them and more limited than the comapct flash in the Canon.

The extra 1X zoom mkaes the Sony better. Have you priced other options as well ... e.g. the Nikon 2500? The tilt feature is very useful! and ... I still think there is an advantage in not using memory stick.

DON'T buy anything with a memory stick. You're only locking yourself out from the rest of the market... going higher than 128Mb is one (and even more costly in the future).

Sony've already annouced a new DUO format that goes to 256Mb, don't ask me why!

Default Memory Stick no longer proprietary

Sony must have liscensed other manufacturers now as both SanDisk & Lexar are making memory Sticks. I just bought a 128mb stick from Sandisk for $56. which is about where other types of fall pricewise. They must not be proprietary an longer.

thank a lot of your opinion, but i think the memory stick is no my problem. Becaues i no need largest memory stick. 128MB is enough for me.
the more important things is which camera can do a good jobs, get a good performance.

Default Quality of image

Having looked at a number of digital cameras for myself and friends, regardless of the features, the critical factor is the image quality, and this can vary substantially between brands. The different brands have different colour biases, compression ratios, and sharpness - the end result of these combinations will affect your satisfaction with the final product. See if your retailer will let you take some test images in the shop, and put them on a CD for you to take home and compare. This is the best test. My personal opinion is quality of the Sony images is not up to scratch, more noise, I presume due to the way they compress their images.
