Default Pentax Optio 550 question

Hi, I've been using Optio 550 for a few months and I just don't seem to be able to figure out how to do macro shots on it. Can anyone help, or it just doesn't have the feature available?
Thanks!

First you really have to read the manuals, as they say RTFM. Some manufacturers put a more detailed reference manual on the CD that came with the camera.

According to Steve's digicams it not only has macro, but super macro as well. Usually there's a button with a flower (again I can see it on Steve's Review)...continue pressing it until a flower icon appears on the display...you're now in macro mode. As for SuperMacro, sometimes you have to select that from a menu; I'm not familar with Pentax, just saying what it is for digital cameras in general.

Thanks!
I found the buttons - the problem is how to use them :? ...
Macro is difficult to get in focus and supermacro is ALWAYS blurred I don't think it's the camera, I think the problem is my lack of experience in using it.
Any good tips? How do people get those beautiful sharp pictures of insects? No insect seems willing to sit still to pose for my picture :P

Practice. One big hint, most cameras can get closer with macro if you zoom out (I know it sounds backwards, but it's true).
